Music firm buys Cornbrook building
MUSIC company Midas Klark Teknik has bought a 20,000 sq ft office building in the Cornbrook area of Old Trafford for an undisclosed sum.
The company plans an immediate move into the three-storey building, Quay House, which is at City Park Business Village on Brindley Road.
The building was sold by an offshore family trust, which was represented by TFC.
Ben Fallows of TFC said: “The sale represented a win, win situation for all concerned.
“It enabled the former tenant to surrender its lease, the onward sale to Midas Klark Teknik and our client to realise its return from a portfolio asset.”
Jonathan Baucher of Cushman & Wakefield said: “Following an extensive and rather exhaustive search, we are delighted to have secured the purchase of Quay House on behalf of our clients, Midas Klark Teknik.
“The business is experiencing rapid expansion and this particular opportunity, being directly opposite its existing accommodation, is well-suited to its operational requirements and, importantly isn’t going to impact on the staff that is extremely specialist.”
TFC acted for the family trust, Cushman & Wakefield for the purchaser Midas Klark Teknik and Jones LangLaSalle for the tenant.
