Jamaica business expo at Mcr Town Hall

AN expo event to mark Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of independence is being held at Manchester Town Hall on Thursday.
Jamaica UK Business Forum, in association with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), Manchester City Council, Jamaica Trade & Investment Agency (JAMPRO), are staging the event, which is free to attend.
The Lord Mayor of Manchester, councillor Elaine Boyes will officially open the Business Expo 2012 event and the North West Drum Corps will be performing on Albert Square outside of the Town Hall, as part of the many activities planned for the day.
The event aims to help businesses to boost trade by gathering buyers, distributors and potential trading partners together to explore the different business opportunities available.
More than 2,000 visitors are expected to attend throughout the day, with over 50 business exhibition stands promoting a wide range of goods and services – ranging from legal and financial services to fashion designers.
