Colliers finds new owners for Cumbrian pub

AGENTS at the Manchester office of Colliers International have sold a Cumbrian pub.

The Black Bull in Nateby, near Kirkby Stephen, was sold by Paul Bonsall to Nick and Gaynor Walker for £295,000.

The couple already own self-catering accommodation in the area.

Colliers’ Haydn Spedding said: “Despite the continuing difficult market conditions, the sale of The Black Bull Inn at Nateby underlines the continuing confidence in the Cumbria market.

“The oldest parts of The Black Bull date back to the 17th Century and it has been substantially extended over the years to form a lovely traditional village inn which not only has a very comfortable bar and dining room but also five individually-styled en suite bedrooms and separate and self-contained two bedroom owners’ accommodation.”
