GMC pulls together printing roster

THE Manchester-based General Medical Council has put a printing contract, worth around £250,000 a year, out to tender.

It wants to establish a printing roster to print and finish a range of publications using litho and digital printing.

This will cover corporate documents, newsletters and leaflets in print runs ranging from 500 to 250,000.

The GMC, which regulates medical schools and maintains a register of all doctors in the UK, expects to hire between five and 10 printers to carry out the work.

The deadline for the receipt of tenders or expressions to participate is September 17. More information can be found here.
