Crowe Clark Whitehill hungry for growth

ACCOUNTANCY firm Crowe Clark Whitehill is targeting further growth in the North West and is looking to acquire in Yorkshire.
Manchester office managing partner Michael Jayson told TheBusinessDesk.com he would like to double his 50-strong team in Manchester in the next five years, while an acquisition in Leeds is “definitely on the agenda” for the top 20 national firm.
He said: “Crowe Clark Whitehill is an established, respected and ambitious brand and we want to grow our market share and are looking for good quality people and teams all the time.
“As a firm we have a lot of clients in Leeds and Yorkshire and we are looking to acquire in that market.”
Mr Jayson said in time he would like the North West practice to open a base in Liverpool too.
“In Manchester I am keen on bringing in an insolvency team, adding further to corporate finance and also to our tax team.
“We get a lot of CVs and calls already but the key issue for us is to make sure we get the right quality of people in. We have a strong, trusted brand with a real focus on client care and quality.”
As a firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has a wide range of SME and owner-managed business clients. It is also a major auditor of charities and pension schemes. Its clients in the latter sector including Skipton Building Society, the RSPB and the General Medical Council.
