Appointments: Borzomato rejoins MSiF; SAS Daniels & more

CORPORATE financier Mark Borzomato, who recently left North West accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway’s Liverpool office, has rejoined Merseyside-based funding provider MSIF.

Mr Borzomato, who joins as investment director, previously worked for MSIF between 2006 and 2009 managing investments through its original Venture Capital Fund.

His new role is to bring new deals to the fund and manage the investment process.  He will work alongside MSIF’s current equity investor Marion Savill.

He  said: “I’m really excited about rejoining MSIF. They have a long and impressive track record of investing in local businesses and I believe that this combined with flexible finance packages will attract businesses to the Fund.

“The last couple of years have been quiet in the local equity market but I think confidence is starting to return and we already have some attractive propositions lined up.”

MSIF provides a range of financial support of between £3k and £2m+ to new and growing businesses across the Merseyside area.
