Cumbrian training firm opens Down Under

CUMBRIAN training company Glasstap has opened an office in Australia.

The Alston-based company supports business trainers by providing materials they can use to develop their skills.

It says professionals in more than 50 countries have signed up to use its services – and more in Australia than anywhere else outside the UK.

Commercial director, Rod Webb said: “Over the years, Glasstap’s services have proved particularly popular in Australia, and we have more customers there than in any other country outside the UK. So I’m really excited by this opportunity to drive forward our business in that region.”

The office will employ three people and be led by managing director Malcolm Baker.
