MediaMix: Polaris, Drumbeat, Pelican and One Marketing

NORTH West public relations firm Polaris is targeting exporters with new international media service.

Polaris, which has offices in Ellesmere Port, Liverpool and Didsbury, already promotes a number of exporters including Wirral manufacturers Dantec and ANH Refractories and Bury-based safety seal manufacturer Roxtec.

Director Sam Pinnington said: “A number of our clients want to raise their profile in media outside the UK. So we have been working closely with them developing contacts and generating media coverage in the Middle East, America, Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.

“We are confident we can use these contacts to help other exporters raise their profile and win business through the foreign media. We are keen to speak to exporters interested in our services.”

He added: “The days of today’s news becoming tomorrow’s fish and chip paper are changing fundamentally.

“The strength of media coverage now is that so much of it is retained permanently online. This is very helpful overseas as securing permanent coverage on Middle East business websites, for example, keeps our clients in the public eye and in the search engines of important growth regions.”

DIGITAL design and branding agency Drumbeat has created a collection of brochures to promote the commercial office space available at MediaCityUK.

The three brochures outline the opportunities at the three office towers, Orange, White and Blue.

MediaCityUK is the new home for the BBC, ITV, Coronation Street and more than 80 smaller creative businesses.

Creative director Andy Heggs said: “We wanted the brochures to work as a collective, but still retain a sense of individual personality, much like the buildings themselves.

“Each has been designed by a different architect and each will appeal to a different type of occupier, but the overall mosaic of the place is great. We hoped to echo this within the brochure suite.”
