Three new partners for Gorvins

LAW firm Gorvins has strengthened its employment capability with a key hire and two internal promotions to partner.

The Stockport-based firm has appointed Emma Harvey, formerly a partner and head of the recruitment sector at DWF, as a partner. It has promoted Christine Thornley and Kevin Connell.

Managing partner Lorraine Lockie said, “Our focus this year is on bringing in top fee earners with specialist skills to build on our core offering.

“Emma’s appointment underpins this strategy and is our fourth key hire this year. She will be a great asset to the team and firm”.

Christine Thornley is a wills, trust and probate expert and has been with Gorvins for six years.

Kevin Connell specialises in construction and joined from Manchester-based Pannone earlier this year.
