adept4 seals second swoop

IT SERVICES provider adept4 has made a second acquisition in as many  months after buying London company, Qmediastream.
 
Daresbury-based adept4 says the deal will take staff numbers to more than 50 and push turnover from £2.25m in 2011 to more than £4m by the end of this year.

Based on east London Qmediastream is a web services business with clients in the music media and insurance sectors including American General Life and the Glastonbury Festival of Arts. Its founder, John McHugh will remain within the business.

Adept4 chief executive Peter Birkett said: “This second deal continues our strategy of pursuing growth through both organic means and acquisitions.

“Qmediastream has an enviable track record and some marquee clients – we aim to build on that reputation and those credentials.

“Our recent acquisitions enable us to give clients an extended service offer and to explore synergies which will deliver benefits to our clients and create new revenue streams for us. It also gives us access to new markets and sectors and will help us drive turnover and profit in the coming year.”

In addition to its HQ in Daresbury, adept4 has offices in Leeds and Bracknell. Last month it acquired TGF Consultants .
