Driver Group set to beat forecasts

LANCASHIRE-based Driver Group, the international construction consultancy, expects to beat market forecasts for the year to the end of September.
The AIM company said its Middle East and African businesses were trading “ahead of management’s expectations” with both regions finishing the year strongly and with good forward order books for the new financial year.
The Rossendale company added: “As a result of the continued strength of trading the board believes the Company will exceed management’s expectations for the financial year ended 30 September 2012.”
Driver said it had finished integrating Trett Consulting, which it acquired from Dutch group Grontmij for £3m in May.
The deal gave Driver greater geographical spread with offices in the US and Malaysia and Singapore.
