Love Energy Savings to create 100 jobs in growth drive

AN energy price comparison company specialising in helping small businesses save cash on their gas and electricity bills, is set to more than double in size over the next 12 months.

Bolton-based Love Energy Savings currently employs 120 people at its new call centre base at Springfield Court, and amid high demand for its services has secured a six-figure finance package from Yorkshire Bank.

It posted a 25% increase in sales in 2011 and is on target to achieve similar levels of growth in 2012.

The new lending facility with Yorkshire Bank’s Business Banking Centre in Bolton which will assist with cash flow as it embarks on its recruitment drive.

Managing director Phil Foster, who founded the business in 2007 said: “The success of the company has been down to serving the business community. Every business is looking to save money, now more than ever, and so getting the most cost effective energy tariff is vital.

“We are seeing growth all over the UK and that’s why we are expanding. We wanted to stay in Bolton and our new premises give us the space we need to create these new sales positions. The next 12 months will represent an important period in our growth and will provide the platform for further success.”

It  predicts it can save the average SME £1,050 per year by switching gas and electricity suppliers.
