Lifestyle Services Group wins EE insurance contract

CHESHIRE company Lifestyle Services Group , the largest provider of mobile phone insurance in the UK, and its partner Allianz have signed a contract with new network Everything Everywhere.
Crewe-based LSG was selected after a competitive tendering process. The multi-year agreement includes providing insurance claims assessments, arranging handset repair and replacements, delivery, customer services and consultancy for EE’s mobile phone “Care” services.
The programme will be underwritten by German insurance giant Allianz. All services will be provided across the EE, Orange and T-Mobile consumer brands.
Lifestyle Services Group has more than 1,000 UK staff at three customer services centres. It is part of the 4U Group which is owned by US private equity group BC Partners.
EE has a customer base of over 27 million people, over half of the UK adult population, and two of the brands, Orange and T-Mobile, together now represent the largest single book of mobile phone insurance customers in the UK.
Following a successful partnership with the Orange Care brand LSG and Allianz will now also support the newly branded EE products, as well as providing sales development and training to assist retail staff.
Andy Morris, business development director at Lifestyle Services Group said: “It is a great privilege to be working in partnership with EE and Allianz to provide the next generation of mobile phone insurance, and delighted to be recognised for our expertise in this market.
“As the largest provider of mobile phone insurance in the UK we understand how central mobile phones have become to our everyday lives and how important it is for us to offer a fast and personalised service to support an EE customer when they need us most.”
Last month Everything Everywhere became the first mobile phone network to launch 4G services in the UK.
