Former football museum site up for rent

PRESTON North End Football Club is marketing the space once used by the National Football Museum.

The museum was established in 2001 at Preston’s Deepdale Stadium – the oldest continually used ground in the world – but closed in April 2010 ahead of a move to Manchester’s Urbis building.

The Deepdale site was being used for storage but is now available to rent.

Agent Nolan Redshaw is marketing the 6,500 sq ft ground floor unit which faces Sir Tom Finney Way at the main entrance to the stadium.

Mike Redshaw said: “As the space is open-plan, its flexibility means that it has the potential to be either extended or split into smaller units. We look forward to securing an operator that will work in partnership with Preston North End Football Club.”
