ANS wins place on Government IT framework

ANS Group, the Manchester-based IT infrastructure and cloud computing provider, is expecting a revenue boost of up to £5m after a public sector contract win.
It has been awarded a framework agreement on G-Cloud II – the new government IT procurement arrangement.
ANS already has a number of public sector clients including Tower Hamlets Borough Council in London, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust closer to home, Salford City Council.

G-Cloud II, which went live in late October 2012, provides moren than 3,000 services from 458 suppliers. The framework enables public sector organisations to source approved suppliers covering a broad range of specialist IT services including; infrastructure, platform, software and specialist cloud services.
