Sudlows wins Yorkshire brief

SUDLOWS, the data centre and IT infrastructure specialist, has won a £650,000 contract for the design and build of a new data centre for Bytemark Hosting, a fast-growing Yorkshire internet service provider.

Bytemark is investing in a new data centre in York.

Andy Hirst, director at Sudlows said: “The design of this new facility is both cost effective and technically advanced. Once operational, the new data centre will enable Bytemark to significantly increase both their capacity and enhanced service delivery.”

“Our unique technical skills are much in demand within the UK, as they are now globally. Our global certification enables our clients to benefit from our technical expertise in both the design and build of their data centre infrastructure.”

Peter Taphouse of Bytemark added: “This new data centre will provide the ideal platform for Bytemark to continue to expand our excellent service offering to our customers.”

Sudlows is also working on fast-growing Manchester-based cloud hosting firm UKFast’s three Trafford Park data centres.
