Provexis signs up Sir Chris Hoy
SPORTS nutrition group Provexis has signed up gold medal winning Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy as a “brand ambassador” for the company.
The AIM company, which has its manufacturing facility in Nelson, Lancashire, has a range of products under the Sports in Science and Fruitflow brands.
Under the terms of the deal Sir Chris will work closely with Science in Sport and its team of experts in hydration and nutrition to help his performance.
He will also use a range of the firm’s products, including SiS GO Gels, SiS GO Energy and SiS REGO Rapid Recovery, and make personal appearances to promote the company.
The firm’s managing director Stephen Moon said: “Having used our products as an integral part of his nutrition ritual for a number of years, we are delighted to announce this new partnership. We are very proud of Chris and his achievements and it’s a major honour to have him as a sporting ambassador.”
Sir Chris Hoy said: “I have used SiS products for many years and I’m looking forward to working with them to further develop this area of my preparation and recovery. The credibility of the science and their innovative approach is the reason I chose to partner with Science in Sport.”
