SRA seeks litigation advisers

THE Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is inviting bids from firms that want to sit on its litigation panel.
Those appointed will carry out a range of litigation-related work including, dealing with court proceedings arising from SRA interventions or the failure of firms; pursuing judicial review applications; and providing legal advice.
They will also handle regulatory appeals and defend and pursue other types of claim on behalf of the SRA.
The contract, which will start on June 1, is for an initial term of three years, renewable annually for a further two years.
