Sales surge at ToxicFox

NORTH West online retailer ToxicFox has maintained its strong growth rate, with sales surging from £700,000 in year one to £2.5m in its second year.
The Stockport company, founded in late 2010 by five young entrepreneurs, now has 30 staff and is set to relocate to new 7,000 sq ft premises.
The growth is attributed to expansion into new markets in 2012 with a dedicated US division and a focus on increasing brand awareness.
Managing director Clinton Njie, said: “We are really pleased with the performance of ToxicFox over the past year and the incredible growth the team has been able to generate.
“We have a fantastically talented staff base and they’ve really helped the business make the transition from start-up to a growing enterprise. We’ve always maintained our vision to become the leading online gift retailer within five years and our financials and brand strength are starting to illustrate that we are well on track to achieve that.”
The Reddish firm was shortlisted as finalists in The National Business Awards 2012.
Last year it launched lifestyle brand ClaireaBella Designs and also started work on a second online brand which is due to launch this summer.
