Bglobal lands deal with new energy firm GnERGY

LANCASHIRE-based energy solutions and services business Bglobal has signed a deal to support GnERGY, a new entrant into the UK market place.
The expertise, support and software the Darwen firm will supply to GnERGY will allow it to become a dual fuel energy supplier. It is the seventh business to sign up to Bglobal’s Supplier in a Box for new market entrants.
This will minimize the time it takes GnERGY to be operational in the market, as Bglobal offers it an array of logistical and technical support through its subsidiary Utiligroup.
Tikendra Dewan at GnERGY said: “We found that Utiligroup were the only company in the market that could deliver not only the pre-accredited energy supply company that will help us begin operations more quickly, but also the industry-leading software and services that will enable us to meet the needs of our community customer base.”
Tim Jackson-Smith, chief executive of Bglobal added: “GnERGY have a unique, community-focused business model and we are pleased to help them achieve their objectives in the coming years.”
Bglobal has also launched a new subsidiary, Bsmart Energy Solutions, which will enable it to offer a complete end-to-end energy management service.
Bsmart provides businesses with the tools they need to measure and analyse their energy consumption and expenditure.
Chris Norburn has been appointed MD of the new business and said: ” “The launch of Bsmart Energy Solutions forms a considerable part of our growth strategy and marks a significant development for Bglobal. It sets us apart from our competitors, as we can take a much more dedicated approach for our customers.”
“Our aim is to help businesses measure smart, buy smart and use smart. Bsmart’s development is a significant step forward for Bglobal and we look forward to helping organisations across the country with their Carbon Reduction Commitment strategies.”
