Byotrol seals deal with wet wipes maker

BYOTROL, the Daresbury-based developer of anti-microbial hygiene technologies, has announced a partnership with Albaad, one of the largest producers of wet wipes in the world.

The financial terms of the joint development agreement with Israel-based Albaad were not disclosed, but the AIM-listed firn said the link-up is “targeted at developing Byotrol-based consumer products for UK and European markets”.

The parties expected that products will be available later in 2013.

Gary Millar, Byotrol’s chief executive said: “This is an exciting development for Byorol Consumer Products as they further extend their product portfolio in this rapidly growing product area.

“The momentum at BCP is very encouraging and this deal in particular should make a big contribution to Byotrol’s continued push into consumer markets worldwide.”

Sam Hacohen, a vice president of marketing and sales at Albaad, added
“We have developed a strong working relationship with the Byotrol team and we are looking forward to a long lasting business relationship which I am confident will be for the mutual benefit of both parties.”
