Fresh buys Igloo to boost exhibition division

COMMUNICATIONS agency Fresh Group has beefed-up its exhibitions division with the acquisition of Middleton company Igloo Events.

Igloo, an exhibition design and build specialist Igloo, was set up in 2010 and reported turnover of £1.3m last year.

The deal will see Cheadle-based Fresh move all design, production, build and delivery at to its workshop in nearby Heaton Mersey.

Fresh managing director, Patrick Howells said: “Adding Igloo’s manufacturing skills to our already flourishing design and build service is a fantastic proposition for Fresh’s existing client base.

“Equally, we look forward to bringing our award-winning creative and account management services to Igloo clients.”

Steve Savage, director at Igloo, added “We’ve always been really impressed by the account management and creativity of the Fresh team and have enjoyed working with them as a build supplier in the past.

“The opportunity to join up our skills and experience with theirs made absolute business sense. I’m really looking forward to helping grow Fresh’s exhibition offering.”
