The only way is Essex for Swinton Commercial

INSURANCE broker, Swinton Group has opened a new commercial branch in Chelmsford, Essex.

The new commercial centre which opened this month is based at Swinton’s exisitin office in the town, and will be headed up by account executive Steve Coughlin, who is relocating from the Billericay branch of Swinton Commercial.

Mr Coughlin, who has been with Swinton Commercial for three years, will be joined at the new branch by senior account handler, Christine Dunne, who has also worked for Swinton Commercial for three years also in Billericay.

Swinton is the UK’s largest high street insurance broker with 553 commercial insurance and personal insurance outlets nationwide. Swinton Commercial has 34 commercial offices.

The opening of the new branch forms part of the company’s strategy to expand the reach of its commercial division, developing its UK local broker proposition.

Regional centre manager, Sarah Gleeson, said: “This is an exciting time for Swinton Commercial, as we look to further our reach across Essex. Our work at Billericay has allowed us to develop strong relationships with businesses in the county, and we look forward to building upon these with our new base in Chelmsford.”
