Appointments: Promotions at JMW, Laytons; SAS Daniels & more

MANCHESTER law firm JMW Solicitors has promoted 12 staff across the firm.
Industrial disease expert Andrew Lilley has become a fixed equity partner and Jason Harwood is promoted from senior associate to partner in the personal injury team.
Elsewhere in the firm there have been four promotions to senior associate for Vicky Protano in corporate, specialist road transport lawyer Laura Hadzik who is in the business crime and regulation team, Melissa Garner from clinical negligence and Michael Purvis in private client.
A further five promotions from solicitor to asssociate see Beth Reay (clinical negligence), Joanne Daly (private client), Paul Gotch (private client), Jennifer Smith (employment), Laura McHugh (employment) and Nick McAleenan (media).

THE Manchester office of Laytons Solicitors has announced the promotion of two associates to partner in its family and property departments.
Commercial property specialist, Claire Beaumont and matrimonial finance specialist, Emma Gill have both stepped up from associate partners.
Matrimonial finance specialist Emma Gill joined Laytons as a trainee in 2003. Her practice includes complex financial claims on behalf of married and co-habiting couples, pre-nuptial & pre-partnership agreements and private Children Act claims, with considerable experience in relocation cases.
Commercial property specialist Claire Beaumont has been with the firm since 2005 and chaired the Women in Property North West branch in 2011 and 2012.

NORTH West West law firm SAS Daniels has promoted three new partners at offices in Chester, Stockport and Macclesfield.
The firm has appointed private client specialist Bik-ki Irving in Chester, family law specialist Nicola McInnes in Macclesfield and employment law and HR lawyer Karen Barker in Stockport.

MANCHESTER agency, WRG Brand, has appointed 28-year old Jessy Gill as new business manager.
In her new role she will aim to extend the agency’s social media presence.
SHe said: “Since I’ve joined it’s become incredibly clear that everyone within the company pulls together to support new business, which means they are serious about growth and this has been proven from our growth on the WRG Live side. DESIGN consultancy the Frank Whittle Partnership (FWP), which has offices in Preston and Manchester, has promoted three staff to associate.
The trio are: design architect Richard McGonigal; project manager Nick Wiley and interior designer David Simmons.
