Client wins boost growth at Fresh Group

MARKETING and events agency Fresh Group is on course for a record year on the back of continued growth.

The Cheadle-based company has picked up FTSE 100 water group United Utilities as a new client, hired eight new staff and announced the opening of a satellite office in London from June 1.

Fresh was appointed to Warrington-based UU’s  marketing and design roster after a competitive tender and the first campaign is already underway and focuses on the value of the service delivered by United Utilities to its seven million customers in the North West.

United Utilities is one of several high profile new business wins which, combined with long term client growth, means that the Cheadle-based agency is on track to deliver a record £14m turnover and £1m net profit target for this year.

Managing director Patrick Howells said: “The creative and delivery teams at Fresh have joined together to produce truly compelling client proposals. I’m really proud of everyone involved in this success.”

The company’s London base on Tottenham Court Road will be used by Fresh teams when they are working in the capital or visiting clients based there.

Now employing 80 people, the most recent recruits are: account director Jasmine Rutter who joins from Tribe in Australia; senior account manager Linda Issa; senior account executives Carole Keating and Rebecca Creamer; designer Peter Shaw; business development executive Rebecca Stopford; Adam Catlow as a developer in the digital team and finally Tom Maloney as workshop caretaker.
