Scottish expansion pays of for adept4

DARESBURY IT services provider adept4 has won two new contracts in Scotland.

The company, which offers a range of IT services including cloud computing and data management, has been hired by human resources company Hunter Adams and accountancy firm FW accounting, which are both based in Aberdeen.

The wins follow adept4’s acquisition of Aberdeen-based K10 Solutions in March.

Chief executive Peter Birkett said: “Expanding our operations in Aberdeen and opening an office there was a strategic step and one that we’re delighted to see is paying off so quickly.

“Adept4 already has a number of clients in Aberdeen and having a local office has allowed us to enhance the levels of service and availability that we’re able to deliver to our existing clients. It also helped us to grow and develop our customer base.”

The company also has offices in Cockermouth and data centre facilities located in London, Bracknell, Newport and Runcorn. Last year it bought London company Qmediastream and TGF Consultants.
