The Hut extends lease at Warrington warehouse

ONLINE retailer The Hut has extended its lease on a major distribution and warehousing centre in Warrington.

The Northwich headquartered firm has agreed a three-year lease with a break in 2015 on the 109,747 sq ft premises at Stretton Distribution Centre.

The property, owned by Carmel Southend Ltd, has been refurbished and includes two-storey office accommodation. It was let by the Manchester office of Colliers International.

Julien Kenny-Levick, director of logistics and industrial at Colliers, said: “The Hut Group is one of the North West’s most ambitious and entrepreneurial businesses and this renewed commitment to a strategically positioned distribution hub is indicative of its ongoing success.”

Stretton Distribution Centre is a mile from the M6/M56 interchange. The rent per sq ft was not disclosed.
