Hargreave Hale moves Blackpool office

STOCKBROKER Hargreave Hale has moved its Blackpool-based investment and compliance teams to new offices at Neptune Court in the Whitehills Business Park.
The move follows a decision by the firm to relocate its back office and administration functions to the same complex earlier this year.
“It is important to us that we have our investment and administrative operations teams based at one site and this new space will allow us to expand strategically in our core areas,” said the company’s finance director, Stuart Brookes.
“Hargreave Hale started in Blackpool more than 100 years ago and I expect our involvement in the region to increase in the future.
He added that the firm had recently taken on six new staff bringing the total number of people employed in the town to 85.
In total, it employs 152 people and has branches in London, Carlise, Bangor, Lancaster and Worcester. In the year to March 31 it increased turnover by 25% to £16.3 million.
