G-Star Raw announces "historic" move
DESIGNER jean brand G-Star Raw is the latest tenant to take residence at Manchester’s Carver Warehouse.
The firm will occupy the first floor of the Town Centre Securities development leaving only one remaining floor.
Erik Tijsma, manager of real estate for G-Star Raw worldwide, said of the move:
“We have been looking to relocate our sales office and showroom into a location that best reflects our brand and feel that Carver’s Warehouse achieves this goal.
“As the oldest surviving stone warehouse in Manchester with listed status, Carver’s Warehouse perfectly matches our ‘raw’ brand elements.”
Work is now underway to create a sales office and showroom to showcase its new collections to retailers.
Staff will be relocated from its existing Hilton Street offices following the fit-out towards the end of this year.
Lambert Smith Hampton, joint agents on Piccadilly Basin with Cushman and Wakefield, represented Town Centre Securities while DTZ acted for G-Star.
