10 senior promotions at KPMG

THREE new partners and seven directors have been promoted at KPMG in the North West.

Nick Pheasey, Martin Tyley in Manchester and LIverpool-based Will Baker have made partner at the firm.

Mr Pheasey leads the firm’s private client advisory team in the region, having moved across from Leeds in 2011. He has been with KPMG for 11 years, and has overssn significant recent growth in his practice area.

Cyber security expert Martin Tyley joined KPMG in 1999 and leads its information protection offering across the UK regions – a fast growing unit within the firm’s advisory practice. He heads a team of 30 helping clients and their suppliers protect themselves against cyber threats.

Will Baker, who heads KPMG’s audit practice in Liverpool, leads a team of 35 professionals and has played a central role in developing the firm’s proposition to family-run companies in the North. he has been with the firm for 17 years.

The newly-promoted directors are all based in the Manchester office. They are:Fran Whittle in audit and assurance; Steve Abbott and Matt Calveley in tax and pensions and Amanda Latham, John Moth, Kyriacos Karsa and Jennifer Harkness in advisory.

The promotions take effect from October 1.
