Appointments: New partner for Ward Hadaway; Bridging Finance & more

HEALTHCARE healthcare lawyer Sheila Bennett has joined the Manchester office of law firm Ward Hadaway.
Sheila joins the firm as a partner after more than 25 years’ specialist experience in the sector.
During her career, she has worked in-house as a solicitor in a health authority and was most recently with national law firm Hempsons.She is noted as a leading practitioner in healthcare law in independent legal guides Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.
Commenting on her move, she said: “The firm has an excellent reputation for the range and high quality of its healthcare team and for its pioneering work in the sector.
“I am really looking forward to working with my new colleagues and helping Ward Hadaway’s many healthcare clients as they look to deal with the rapid pace of change in the sector.”
Ward Hadaway’s healthcare team provides services for more than 70 NHS trusts and organisations from the Scottish Borders to the South West of England.

BRIDGING Finance the short-term property lender based in Cheadle has appointed a new national sales manager.
The new recruit is Laura Morgan, who has previously worked for the Bank of Scotland, The Funding Corporation, Norton Finance and most recently FC Group.
Chris Baguley, managing director of Bridging Finance, said: “Laura has a proven track record in business development and investment structuring. She brings valuable experience to both Bridging Finance and Auction Finance.

LANCASHIRE law firm Napthens has recruited solicitor Daniel Boulton to its commercial property team.
Mr Boulton joins from Manchester commercial firm Lockett Loveday McMahon Solicitors. At Napthens he will deal with all aspects of commercial property work including landlord and tenant matters, sales and purchases, development and estates work.

ALTRINCHAM PR and marketing agency RMS has strengthened its team team with the arrival of Emma Johnson as account executive.
Miss Johnson will work in an account team with Dan Gledhill and Lucy Oates on a portfolio of B2B and B2C accounts from the finance, regeneration, manufacturing and construction sectors.
