Recruiter Adam in Manchester move

NORTH West recruiter Adam has moved its head office from Wilmslow to Manchester city centre as part of a 2013 growth drive, which has also seen it open a base in London.
Turnover at the firm, which focuses on digital, marketing and HR, has risen 33% to £2.5m this year.
Established in 2006, Adam currently employs 16 people and is hiring for two more staff. Its aim is to build the business to 75 consultants in three offices (including one overseas) over the next decade.
It has taken space on the 14th floor at Bruntwood’s Manchester One on Portland Street.
Richard Gahagan co-founder of Adam, says: “2012 and the first half of 2013 have proved to be very successful for Adam and the move to the heart of city centre Manchester is testament to that.
“Relocating to Manchester One will ensure that we stay ahead of the markets we operate in. The digital arena in Manchester is on a par with London and we have some of the most creative companies and individuals in the country based here.
“Most of our clients in the North are based in Manchester, and our new offices will ensure that we continue to attract the best talent. We are looking to build the best recruitment consultancy in the market and our plans are focused on being the biggest brand in our specialist sectors.”
