More IFB events unveiled

LIVERPOOL’S International Festival for Business has added a number of new events to its programme.

The 50-day festival, which promises to attract 250,000 visitors in June and July, will seek to be a showcase for British business across a range of sectors.

Organisers have already announced a “global leaders summit” and explained how the festival will have weeks dedicated to key sectors such as maritime, logistics and energy; higher and further education; manufacturing, science and technology and professional and financial services.

The newly confirmed events are:

• The Sony World Photographic Exhibition: The world’s largest photography awards and exhibition dedicated to supporting and cultivating photographic culture.
• The International Trade Expo: Business awards targeting importers and exporters.
• All Our Futures: An event that unites headteachers from around the world to provide insights into teaching and learning.
• The UK Business Angel Awards: Bringing together leading players in the angel and early stage investment community.
• TAF British Coatings Federation: For decision makers in the construction industry.
• TAF NAPIT: An event set to attract over 400 trade installers to discuss the future advancements of their industries.
• Regen Europe: Exploring the challenges faced by European towns and cities.
