Appointments: Turner Parkinson; Yorkshire Bank; Stein IAS; Cuckoo Design and more

LAW firm Turner Parkinson has appointed Paul McGlone as its business development director. 

Mr McGlone, who joins the Manchester firm from national player DWF, will be responsible for devising and delivering a new client development strategy.

YORKSHIRE Bank has strengthened its agribusiness team in Lancashire, with the appointment of relationship manager Tim Milne-Redhead.

A specialist in providing finance for farming businesses, Preston-based Mr Milne-Redhead has more than 25 years’ financial services experience and joins from Rural Finance Solutions.

Ian Hardman, head of Yorkshire Bank’s Preston business and private banking centre, said: “Tim brings a wealth of experience in the agriculture sector to a role which will support farming businesses across the North West.

“Agriculture is an integral part of the region’s economy. It remains a priority area for us and one for which we will continue to provide support.”

BOLLINGTON-based marketing firm Stein IAS has bolstered its digital team with the appointment of digital planner Sarah Lewis.
 
Sarah previously worked as a digital account executive for Diabetes UK where she was responsible for content production and statistical reporting and analysis of the charity’s social media platforms.

At Stein IAS her role will involve planning, delivering and measuring global online marketing strategies across a number of key accounts, including data centre

specialist, Telecity: global leader in lubricants and oil services, Castrol AIME; Atos subsidiary, Canopy; and global manufacturer of polymer-based engineered solutions, Trelleborg.

Digital director Marc Keating said: “We’ve significantly invested in and driven our digital, technology enabled go-to-market approach as we firmly believe that’s where

SALFORD agency Cuckoo Design has appointed Andrew Windle as a junior designer.

He has joined from We Are Air in Hale and will work with a number of clients including the re-brand of laser manufacturer, Lynton Lasers and promotional materials for QMH Hotels.

He said: “From the start Cuckoo just felt like a great place to work with its impressive client list and design portfolio. Mostly importantly however it was the team ethos and creative working environment that attracted me, not to mention the pink pool table.”

PRESTON and Chester-based architects Cassidy + Ashton has taken on three new members of staff.

Nick Szpunar, Jess Campbell and Rachel Bibby have all taken on full-time roles with the company at its Preston office.

Szpunar, 32, has become a building surveyor after eight years working as a technical engineer in the rail industry. Jess Campbell, 25, is still studying part-time in order to complete her degree in architectural technology.

Campbell, from Upholland, Wigan, gained a placement with Cassidy + Ashton over the summer and is now a full-time employee with the company, attending the University of Central Lancashire one day each week. Rachel Bibby is responsible for running the reception desk.
