UCH takes 20,000 sq ft at Manchester Airport

UCH Logistics, which provides transport services to the air freight industry, has taken a 20,000 sq ft warehouse at Manchester Airport’s World Freight Terminal.
Based in Middlesex, UCH also carries out security screening and has its other airport base at Heathrow.
John Atkins, property director for the Manchester Airports Group (MAG), said: “Growing our logistics credentials is a key focus for MAG Property, and this letting makes achieving that objective one step closer. As we look to develop our logistics offering with the Airport City project, this letting is another sign of the confidence in our product but also the need to grow this area of our business even more.”
Nova Barker, general manager at UCH, said: “Manchester Airport provided the ideal location for UCH Logistics to site a northern base and the whole letting process was easy and efficient. The warehouse will have state of the art equipment installed, including leading products in the world of security screening. UCH looks forward to working closely with MAG Property in the future.”
MAG Property was advised by Manchester-based P3 Property Consultants.
