Another record month for Jaguar Land Rover

VEHICLE manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has announced record sales for October with deliveries of its models up 35% on the same month last year.
The Indian-owned company sold 34,101 vehicles in the month and in the first 10 months of the year, sales were 346,935, an increase of 18%.
Sales growth continued in all major regions: the China region was up 56%, North America up 51%, Asia Pacific up 41%, the UK up 20%, and Europe up 12%.
Sales for the first10 months of the year were also up in all major regions with Asia Pacific up 30%, the China region up 27%, and North America up 20%.
Sales operations director Andy Goss said: “We are continuing to see very positive sales momentum for our most engaging product line up to date. The new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport and enhanced engine offerings are collectively driving sales growth in all of our major regions.”
In October, Jaguar sold 5,750 vehicles, up 91%, which it said reflected particularly strong demand for the XJ and all XF derivatives, which were up 95% and 73% respectively.
