Designival returns with ‘mini’ festival

LIVERPOOL design festival Designival is staging a “mini” version of the biennial event this Friday.

Speakers include Matt Webb, chief executive of London-based Berg, and Erik Kessels, who was behind the “I Amsterdam” campaign.

Paul Davis, the illustrator behind IBM’s Magic Box campaign, is also making an appearance at the event at Camp and Furnace.

Designival is the brainchild of Liverpool-based design agencies Uniform, Black & Ginger and Smiling Wolf. It has been supported by ACME, the city’s development agency for creative industries, and economic development company Liverpool Vision.

Designival Mini runs from 2.30pm-late on November 22 at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool. The main event returns next year.
