Appointments: Jones leaves TBWA for Marketecture; new head of radio at PH Media

MANCHESTER-based marketing agency Marketecture has taken on Anthony Jones as head of digital design.

Anthony has joined from the advertising agency TBWAManchester where he spent 10 years. He has worked on campaigns for Barclaycard, MBNA, Nissan, Shell, LG and Umbro.
 
“The passion and ambitions of the management team at Marketecture spurred me to jump ship after 10 years at TBWA,” he said. “I was involved in heavyweight digital campaigns at TBWA and enjoyed the brand exposure but I’m now pleased to bring the benefit of my experiences to the Marketecture table.”
 
In his new role Anthony is tackling online campaigns for clients including global publishing group Reed Elsevier and sister web domain management and hosting companies NetNames and NetBenefit – both part of the London-listed Group NBT.

PH Media Group, the Manchester-based provider of audio marketing, has appointed Ian Ockerby as head of radio for the group’s in-store music and advertising division, PH Radio.

PH Radio currently provides in-store music and announcements to a range of retail, automotive and leisure clients including Harvey Nichols, Audi and Crowne Plaza hotels.

Grant Reed, managing director, said: “Ian knows PH Radio inside out and has been a driving force in making the division the success it is today.

“He has some great ideas on how we can move the division forward and introduce a host of new clients to our service. He’s well on track to double PH Radio’s income by Christmas.”
