Legal news: Kuits scores with Class of ’92 ; Hill Dickinson; EAD in ‘Gypsy Wedding’ case win & more

MANCHESTER law firm Kuits has advised on the agreement to produce a major film documentary about the rise to prominence of David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil and Gary Neville during their time together from the youth team to the first team at Manchester United FC.

Universal Pictures (UK) held the premier of the film in London’s Leicester Square on Sunday, with the documentary set in the period between 1992-1999 during which time the players were team mates.  

The film is directed and produced by Fulwell 73 Productions and Boundless Productions, part of Fremantle UK. The documentary, directed by Ben and Gabe Turner, charts the rise of the six players from teenagers to members of the treble-winning side in 1999.

Kuits commercial specialists Rob Buckley and James Wall from advised the players on the production agreement.

NORTH West law firm Hill Dickinson’s specialist health team has been re-appointed to a framework agreement to provide legal services to NHS organisations located across England.
 
The firm, which will service the work from its Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and London offices, has been appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) framework agreement.

There are currently 80 NHS organisations who have signed up to the NHS SBS framework ranging from NHS trusts, foundation trusts, community partnerships and ambulance services.
