TNT Post UK, which recently launched a postal delivery service in Greater Manchester, is creating 12 jobs at a new postal depot in Salford.
It has taken a three-year lease on the 1,921 sq ft at Park House Bridge Estate.
The letting was secured by Andy Backhouse, associate director, industrial and logistics at the Manchester office of property agent Colliers International on behalf of Crescent Management Services.
TNT announced plans to create more than 1,000 jobs in Greater Manchester when it launched its postal delivery service in November 2013.
Mr Backhouse said: “TNT Post UK is a prestigious company making a major investment in Greater Manchester and Salford will benefit from being the latest addition to a network of local postal depots.”

GREATER Manchester-based law firm PLS Solicitors, has moved to larger offices.
The firm has purchased new premises on Aegean Road, Broadheath after outgrowing its current home in Broomfield Lane, Hale.
Within five year the firm has grown from three employees to 35 and has a turnover of £3m, offering advice on conveyancing, commercial property, litigation, insolvency, employment and commercial legal services.
Managing director Aash Dhand said: “It was a hard decision to leave our Bloomfield Lane site, but we had just simply out grew the building. We are making significant investment in the future of the business and in our facilities which has allowed all our departments to be under the same roof.
“Over the past five years, we’ve seen significant growth, and we are very much looking to build on that success and our reputation for our work, and these new premises will enable our staff to continue to provide the high level of service our clients expect from us.”

THE former book shop at 193 Ashley Road, Hale has been let to The Little Deli Company for its second food and drink venture, a bar called The Moose.
It has taken the 1,124 sq ft retail unit on a 10-year lease at an initial rental of £22,000 a year.
The company already runs an independent local and specialist food outlet at 42 Stamford Park Road, Hale.
Chris Cunliffe, co-owner of The Little Deli Company said: “The deli has proved to be very successful and from speaking to our customers we felt there was a gap in the market in Hale village for the alpine themed craft beer and wine bar, which we wanted to create.”
