Kids Allowed plans Broadheath nursery

NORTH West nursery group Kids Allowed is planning to open its latest site in Broadheath near Altrincham, a move which will create around 65 full and part-time jobs.

KIds Allowed, founded by Jennie Johnson, is working with local developer Selbourne Group on the plan for the 160-place nursery, which if Trafford Council gives the green light, will be built on vacant land on the A56, Manchester Road.

To limit noise affecting nearby residents it is proposed that acoustic fencing will be used , while after consulting with local people last year, the nursery’s car park has been redesigned so as to divert traffic away from surrounding residential roads.

Michael de Massey, managing director of Selbourne Group said: “We are a local, family-owned company committed to investing in and helping to regenerate the Broadheath area by creating high quality developments and providing employment opportunities.

“If planning consent is granted we are confident that the Broadheath nursery will be a positive addition to the local community.”

Kids Allowed currently has nurseries in Manchester (Christie Fields on Princess Parkway), Macclesfield, Cheadle Royal, Stockport and Knutsford.
