Entertainment Magpie seeks more sites for Bradley Street

ENTERTAINMENT Magpie, the North West re-commerce company, is looking for more locations for its new fashion clothing concept, Bradley Street.

Co-founder and chief executive Steve Oliver said the response to the first Bradley Street outlet, a 3,500 sq ft unit in Cobden Court, The Mall in Blackburn, has been “excellent”.

He said: “It’s a new concept and footfall is really positive – every single item we sell is an individual piece.

“We have another three stores in the pipeline over the next three months and all will be in northern towns and so easy to supply.”

Bradley Street stocks thousands of pre-owned clothes from a range of high street and designer brands, all in like-new condition and sold for up to 75% off original prices. It aims to remove the hassle normally associated with pre-owned shopping. Every piece in the shop is individual and has been thoroughly checked and cleaned before it makes it onto the rails.

It is the second retail fascia Macclesfield-based Entertainment Magpie has established – its That’s Entertainment chain now stands at 31, and sells pre-owned, reconditioned CDs, DVDs and video games bought online via the musicmagpie website.
