Export Week – UKTI reveals event programme

NORTH West companies are being urged to take part in another week of free events aimed at boosting exports.
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) – the government body set up to help increase trade abroad – is running the fourth national Export Week, from April 7 l to April 11.
TheBusinessDesk.com is hosting an event in Crewe looking at opportunites in central and eastern Europe, as part of a bust week of activity.
Export Week is a bi-annual national event which forms part of a drive to double UK exports to £1 trillion by 2020 and get 100,000 more companies exporting.
In the North West Export Week will cover a range of markets from Asia Pacific to Africa, with events taking place in each county.
UKTI North West are working with a range of industyr experts and advisers to provide practical advice and share experiences.
Regional Export Champions – successful business people from established exporting companies – will also be tajking part ,offering peer to peer support in addition to the wide range of individually tailored professional services available from the UKTI team.

Grow your Business in Asia Pacific – AJ Bell Stadium, Salford;
Tuesday 8 April
Grow your Business in Japan – Castle Green, Kendal, Cumbria;
Wednesday 9 April
Grow your Business in Africa – Hard Day’s Night Hotel, Liverpool;
Thursday 10th April
Grow your Business in Southern Asia – Graham & Brown Ltd, Blackburn;
Friday 11th April Grow your business in Central and Eastern Europe – Crewe Hall, Cheshire.
