Co-operative agrees letting with healthcare group

THE Co-operative Estates has let 7,800 sq ft at Wellfield Business Park in Runcorn to Phoenix Medical Supplies, a European pharmaceutical wholesaler.

Phoenix has agreed a lease until 2027 at the park in Preston Brook next to the M56 which has five detached office buildings.

Geoff Player, director of Commercial and Investment Property at Co-operative Estates, said: “The commercial property market in the Warrington and Runcorn locality has certainly been more active in recent months; however, with a healthy supply of competition in the vicinity we are delighted to secure this significant letting.”

BE Group and DTZ are joint agents at the park.

Simon Roddam, associate director of BE Group, said: “The location was ideal for this occupier given its proximity to their headquarters, and this coupled with our pragmatic leasing strategy provided an ideal property solution.”

Louise Robinson, associate in the real estate team at law firm Mills & Reeve in Manchester, advised Phoenix Medical Supplies on the letting.
