Property briefs: Mawdsley Group; Sentinel Performance; Benson Clarke and more

MAWDSLEY Group Investments, the parent company for privately-owned pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor Mawdsley-Brooks, has acquired a warehouse in Salford.

The business, which is based in Salford, has bought the 14,300 sq ft building at Houston Park, Montford Street, from a private pension fund. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

SENTINEL Performance Solutions has taken a 10,250 sq ft building at Daresbury Park.
 
The company’s agent Canning O’Neill said the deal involved the assignment of former tenant Carillion’s residual leases on the building which is owned by the Hollins Murray Group.

Sentinel, which supplies products and services to protect central heating systems from corrosion, is relocating from The Heath Business and Technical Park in Runcorn.

TECHNICAL recruitment consultancy Benson Clarke has taken space at i2’s serviced offices in 3 Hardman Square, Spinningfields.

The firm recruits for a range of positions in disciplines including surveying, project and programme management, operational management and architecture.

Founder and managing director Lee Fallon said: “3 Hardman Square provides the perfect base from which to conduct our operations and the ability to facilitate our growth plans.”

WEB Enable IT, which develops custom, web-based database solutions, has taken an office at Lewis House, 56 Manchester Road, Altrincham.

It has taken 150 sq ft on the first floor at a rent of £250 per month.
