CBI’s Fletcher to take up Yorkshire role

GILES Fletcher, assistant regional director of business organisation CBI in the North West, has landed the top job over the Pennines in Yorkshire.

Mr Fletcher will replace Andrew Palmer as CBI director for Yorkshire & Humber, who is moving to Scotland to take up a senior role with the organisation there in the run-up to the independence referendum.

Mr Fletcher said: “It is an interim role while Andrew is in Scotland, and I’ll still be living in the North West.”
