New contracts fuel growth at CMS Group

NORTH WEST based IT infrastructure specialist CMS Group has created 10 jobs in the past two months after winning £2.2m of new business.

The Lancashire company has clinched five new outsourced and managed service contracts including law firm Napthens Solicitors East Sussex-based Elite Hotels, Chorley car park management group Parking Eye, the Goodwood Estate and Bury manufacturer Trumeter Technologies.

“This is now the cornerstone of our managed service proposition and it gives us a real differentiator when selling against our competitors.

 “Our IT infrastructure solutions have delivered real return on investment to new and existing clients in any sector. This is an extremely exciting time for CMS as we believe we are the first reseller in the North West to successfully take a credible multi-tenanted Cloud-based platform to market.”

The Blackburn company, which was set up in 1990 by chairman Andrew Coop, has data centres in Manchester and London. It employs 45 people.
