Door4 to expand with Rosebud finance

DIGITAL marketing firm Door4 is expanding after securing a six-figure loan from Lancashire’s Rosebud finance scheme.

Door4, which is based in Nelson, east Lancashire, designs and builds websites and helps drive traffic to them through search engine optimisation, email marketing and social media.

The agency also carries out graphic design, content production, video and photography.

Established in 2000 by Leon Calverley, its clients include Allied Bakeries, smart meter software firm Bglobal, brewer Daniel Thwaites, Boundary Mill Stores and Magnet Trade.

It said Rosebud’s finance will allow it to add three staff to its 13-strong workforce and expand its range of marketing services.

Managing director Leon Calverley said: “With the economy becoming increasingly buoyant, this is the ideal time to be investing in the business and planning for future growth. The finance from Rosebud will allow us to further strengthen our team by bringing in additional skillsets, developing our services and extending our reach into other areas of the North West.”

Rosebud is managed by Enterprise Ventures, on behalf of Lancashire County Developments Ltd (LCDL) – the county council’s economic development company.

Paul Taberner from Enterprise Ventures, said: “Door4 is a forward-looking business which is investing in its team in preparation for growth. Rosebud is keen to back ambitious businesses like this within the creative and digital industry or any other of our target sectors.”

The size of the loan was not disclosed.
