121 Customer Insight sets out growth plan

AN ambitious call centre, software and data business, backed by industry veterans Howard Seaton and Rod Kilgour,  is set to create new jobs amid growing sales.

Salford-based 121 Customer Insight was founded in 2005 by three colleagues who worked together at ADS Telemarketing – Mssrs Seaton  and Kilgour and current managing director Rob Wilkinson – and now has 80 staff.

Amid a growing order book as businesses return to growth mode, 121 expects to add a further 40 jobs over the next 18 months. In the same timescale revenues are expected to rise from £2.2m to more than £3m.

In the longer term – the company, currently spread across four sites on the Waters Edge Business Park, Salford Quays, will look for a single site.

Mr Wilkinson said: “At one2one we have worked hard to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace – in addition to combining online lead generation with high quality telemarketing, we also offer business software and data management services.

“We have seen an increase in demand in line with the improvement in the economy and are confident that the investment we are making will allow us to continue to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

The company’s clients include Swinton Insurance, Autobar and the Mark Group.

ADS Telemarketing was founded and built up by Howard Seaton until it was acquired in 1999 in a multi-million pound deal by media group News International.
