Nabarro joins Manchester mix with Addleshaws hires

COMMERCIAL law firm Nabarro is the latest to join the Manchester legal market after luring three partners from Addleshaw Goddard, including head of real estate Mark Haywood.

Mr Haywood is joined by real estate colleagues Nathan Jansen and Monica Brij.

Ciaran Carvalho, head of real estate at Nabarro, which has offices in London, Sheffield, Brussels, Dubai and Singapore, said: ” Mark, Nathan and Monica are fantastic additions to our real estate team.

“Today’s announcement is a sign of intent. Nabarro is rightly proud of its market leading real estate practice and we are confident in investing to continue to support national and international clients in the sector.

“An office handling the most complex real estate structures, funds and deals in Manchester will strengthen the reputation established by our London team and complement the high quality investment, leasing and asset management work we deliver to clients from our Sheffield office.”

The Nabarro real estate practice recently advised on  the JV agreement between client Hermes Real Estate and the Co-op for the NOMA development in Manchester.

The arrival of Nabarro follows the announcement by City firm BLP that it is opening a base in Manchester this year, while Bristol-based TLT has been an active player in the legal market of late, luring a team of 30 from Irwin Mitchell.
